It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… Yes, I am already excited and yes, I know it’s only October, but it’s never too early to start planning! Harvey Nichols have just released their new collection of luxury Christmas hampers, so what better time than to start the Christmas blog posts. They range of new hampers are even bigger, better and more delicious than last year!Harvey Nichols have really stepped up their Christmas gifting game, with an impressive selection of food and drink hampers, designed to suit every occasion. Luxurious black wicker hampers have been filled with a selection of treats including savoury nibbles, after dinner sweet treats and bottles of bubbly!I’m fortunate to get my hands on The Crowd Pleaser, priced at £300, which has been hand crafted for the whole family. This luxurious hamper cuts out the stress of Christmas food and drink shopping, and has the big day covered, allowing you to sit back and indulge. With two bottles of champagne, a beautiful white wine and a warming red, The Crowd Pleaser also contains a bottle of my favourite tipple – gin! Served with four bottles of cucumber and lime tonic water, your guests are sure to get a little merry. Savoury snacks include almond stuffed lemon and almond olives, chilli crackers and cheese biscuits. For those with a sweet tooth, there are plenty of treats to get stuck into, such as dark chocolate florentines, mint thins, chocolate truffles and dark chocolate crunch biscuits. Harvey Nichols don’t stop there, they’ve also considered all the little details that make Christmas special too. From condiments such as cranberry sauce and mustard, to date & orange chutney, plus tea and coffee to get the big day started. Plus olive oil & rosemary biscuits for the all-important evening cheese board, chocolate coins (because is it even Christmas without these?!), and possibly the piece-de-resistance – GAMES! Stew was over the moon when he spotted this inside, and I’m sure we’ll spend all afternoon playing this.We’re heading back to my parents house in the Forest of Dean this year for Christmas, so we’ll be sure to take lots of bits from the hamper with us, and I’m considering gifting my Mum the wicker hamper as I know she’d love to keep as a luxurious storage box.
