Harvey Nichols Snowed In Christmas Hamper

Harvey Nichols Snowed In Christmas HamperFor me, nothing can compete with the excitement of opening a hamper for the first time, eagerly lifting the lid to reveal what's inside. Harvey Nichols excel in this domain, with their fantastic collection of gift hampers. No matter what size you are looking for, or what your budget is, there is at least one for everyone.

They make the ideal gift for loved ones at this time of year, and are one of those special gifts that never fail to make someone smile. No matter how extensive your Christmas shopping list, how prepared you are for the big day, a luxurious hamper like this one, filled with food and drink is always welcome in any home.
Not least, this very special 'Snowed In' hamper, bursting with savoury snacks, prosecco and sweet treats to name a few. It is guaranteed to complete yours or your loved ones Christmas this year. Differing from the otherwise popular hampers filled with Christmas cakes, champagne, chocolates and biscuits, this hamper caters to the savoury taste buds. It's name - Snowed In - does a great job of encompassing what this hamper has to offer. If I were actually snowed in this Christmas, there's nothing I would love more than making porcini wild mushroom risotto, snacking on olives stuffed with almonds, lighting in a soy candle and opening a bottle of white wine.

The 'Snowed In' hamper also includes a truffle olive oil, goat's cheese and walnut biscuits, quince, pecan and poppy seed toast, luxury chocolate truffles and no Christmas would be complete without a bag of chocolate coins!
Harvey Nichols have also though about all your drinking needs, with a bag of freshly ground coffee, white wine, prosecco, creme de peche merlot and Mozart chocolate cream - YUM!
In essence you could wake up and have a cup of coffee for breakfast with a piece of toast, lunch on a picnic of olives and cheese biscuits, and then for dinner, sit down to a steaming bowl of creamy risotto, and polish off a bottle of wine watching your favourite Christmas film. They've literally thought of everything!

Plus for those who want to go ALL out they have a number of hampers that cater for a large party, suppling your entire bar, like this Bring Your Own Bar which is literally stocked full of wine and spirits.
Or how about the Festive Feast which boasts pink champagne, cranberry sauce, brandy butter and many other indulgent treats, guaranteed to start your Christmas off with a bang!

And finally, what are your thoughts on the 'Snowed In' hamper? Do you think it's as clever an idea as I do? Or would you prefer something more sweet?
I forgot to mention that this hamper also includes a tin of Baci de Dama (or Lady's Kisses). I wasn't sure what these were before receiving this hamper, but they're like a mini hazelnut cookie filled with chocolate cream. They originated from Turin and are an Italian speciality, which is fitting with the other items in the hamper such as prosecco, olives and olive oil. I can't wait to tuck into these. We've been good so far and have made some space in our pantry to save a number of the items until closer to Christmas, to share with our parents when they come to visit. However, I doubt we'll be able to resist the Lady's Kisses for that long!
