BB Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

BB Bakery afternoon tea bus tourA couple of weekends ago we celebrated both Stew's and mine's birthdays (mine's on the 25th and Stew's was on the 10th), by enjoying afternoon tea on board a London red bus.A unique concept, thought up by the creative team behind BB Bakery, Covent Garden. This wonderful experience is both afternoon tea and London bus tour in one!Driving all over central London, the bus stops off at all the great sights - Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and more. Whilst on board, the friendly staff help to point out all of the landmarks whizzing by, and give some fun trivia along the way.The afternoon tea itself is fantastic too. As you are greeted and shown your seat, your personal array of both savoury and sweet miniatures await! (The lemon meringue tart is to die for!) Laid out on each table, the afternoon tea also comes with a complimentary bottle of orange juice and a selection of teas and coffees.Afternoon tea aboard a London red busAfternoon tea and London bus tourLondon afternoon teaUnique afternoon tea in LondonBB Bakery afternoon teaPriced at £45 I would say that this particular afternoon tea in London is fantastic value based purely on the tour combined and the fact it lasts for around an hour and a half. When you consider that most afternoon teas in the city are around £40 - £50 and a tour of London will probably set you back a further £30, it's fantastic! Plus it's something I have never come across before, and is a truly unique way of seeing London. If you happen to go just 2 of you, a tip of mine is to pay the extra £10 and sit on the top deck at the very front. This has the best view in the bus, being able to look straight out of the front.Price: £45Top tip: Face forwards if you get car sick!Verdict: 5/5
