Travel | Doughboys Doughnuts, Melbourne

I first discovered the wonderfully delicious doughnuts by Doughboys on Instagram and had sworn to find their stall ever since. Last week I finally got around to tracking them down at the Mercat Cross Hotel in Melbourne's city centre where they have a cute stand. They also sell them in many of my favourite restaurants, including Top Paddock which I blogged about last week. 

Now for the flavours... Starting from the left and going clockwise I bought PBJ which is peanut butter icing covered in boysenberry jam and roasted almonds. Earl Grey which is earl grey flavoured icing covered in dried raspberries and mandarin pieces. Gimme S'more which is chocolate icing covered in wheat cracker pieces and finished with a toasted marshmallow. And finally Maple Bacon which is of course maple syrup flavoured icing covered in bacon pieces!!

The Maple Bacon was my favourite but they were all amazing. And at just $5 each (£3) they are a pretty good bargain!
