Spring Styling
Last weekend I took a trip to Greenwich, for brunch with a friend, and couldn't resist getting some snaps of my new outfit. I bought this blazer from Mango (via ASOS) and have barely taken it off since first trying it on. It's made from a beautiful houndstooth patterned fabric, with tortoise shell print buttons. Along with the blazer, I also treated myself to a pair of tan coloured wide leg jeans from & Other Stories. This is my first purchase from them, and I absolutely love the colour and fabric. They're a little higher price point than I would normally spend on jeans, but the price reflects their great quality, which I'm more than happy to pay for.I accessorised my outfit with this beautiful navy strap watch from ADEXE London. I was very kindly gifted this watch to share with you all, and I couldn't be happier to do so. If you've followed me for a while, you'll knot that I love watches more than any other accessory. It's rare that I'm seen without one on my wrist. In fact, I feel lost without one!I rarely use my watches for the time, as I tend to use my laptop or phone for that. Instead, I wear a watch as a form of jewellery and love to accessorise my outfits with one.Despite owning almost 15 watches (yes, 15 - I told you I had a thing for them), I've never own a navy blue leather strap one. I feel in love with this petite blue design by ADEXE called 'Meek'. It's made from genuine Italian leather, with a gold coloured stainless steel case and white face. The numbers on this watch face are also different to any other watch I own, with Roman numerals instead. I love this about the watch. It gives it a more traditional style, which works perfectly with a blazer.Luckily the weather last weekend was warm enough to wear the blazer alone, with a t-shirt underneath. I have a feeling this will become my go-to outfit this spring season. It's the perfect jacket for taking an otherwise casual outfit and dressing it up a little. It also helps with the change in temperature, taking the outfit from day to night seamlessly. What's your go-to outfit or inspiration this season? Have you purchased any new bits to update your wardrobe this spring?
