I'm Moving to Melbourne!

The time has finally come for me to be able to tell you all that I'm moving to Melbourne in the new year!! If you've followed my blog for a while you will know that last year I met the man pictured above and got to spend 8 wonderful weeks with him before he jetted off to Thailand to begin a year of travel. At the time we had no idea what would happen, whether we'd stay in touch or whether we'd meet someone else. But alas we stayed in regular contact and I flew over to meet him in Sydney back in April for a 2 week holiday. We've actually managed to speak every day throughout his trip which is pretty damn amazing considering some of the most remote places he's visited.

Now 13 months after he first left he's flying home to spend Christmas here with his friends and family, and I will be flying back out to Australia with him on January 8th! It's been a very long 209 days apart so far but I'm hoping the next two and a half weeks are going to fly by.

I know from talking to lots of you over the last year that many of you have been in similar situations, and it's been so good to talk to you guys knowing I'm not the only one going through it. I'm glad my story gets a happy ending and I'm SO excited for what 2014 will bring!

This year has been the craziest of my life, I've never been through anything quite like this. Fingers crossed it's all been worth it! :)
